I am truly sad for our country.

Does the 1st amendment to the constitution, that so many have fought & died for mean anything anymore?

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercising thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people to peaceably assemble, & to petition the government for a redress of grievances[font:Arial Black][/font]

If we give this up for any reason, no matter the cost, we have lost everything that makes the United States of America the greatest place on earth to live.

I'm sure my Great Uncle, when he jumped out of that plane over Normandy, France thought it would have been safer for him to stay sheltered in place in his house. I'm sure my father thought it was safer to stay sheltered in place than to be at the Chosin Reservoir when the Chinese joined the Korean War.

Neither of these great men as well as countless others worried about their safety & security when they went to fight for our freedom.

Freedom is not free. The sad fact of life is that at some point you die, from an infinite number of causes.

Many great patriots, of our country, who gave everything, are rolling over in their graves right now, not only because of what our leaders are doing, but also because of the way, "We The People" are just sitting here and taking it, all in the name of a little safety & security.

With all of that said, if you do not feel safe don't go out of your hose & do not get around other people.

If you are willing to risk your safety for your freedom, then go out & about, just be mindful of others around you

I will choose freedom every time

No fever or dry cough, so I’ve got that going for me. Otherwise just doing a little fishing and wishing everyone would go back to work so I can enjoy my time on the lake during the week!

Glad you're doing good.

I concur, these non essentials are acting crazy, they need to go back to work. I need my mid week empty lakes back

As soon as life gets back to normal I’m planning on coming over and fishing some evening tourneys with dad.

It's only a matter of time before someone gets charged with spreading the virus... You fish a 60 boat tourney and a week later one of participants gets sick and dies. The county prosecutor get wind of it and orders all the other participants be tested for the virus... Say 1 or 2 test positive, so the prosecutor chargers those 1 or 2 with whatever he can make stick and for violating the stay at home order... Wanna have to hire a lawyer to represent you???... Here is SW Ohio if your arrested they're automatically tacking on the charge of failing to follow the stay at home order... So even if your acquitted of the virus passing charge they're gonna get you on the failure to follow the stay at home law... Just food for thought... Dan

Self government cannot exist without self discipline. It seems if we have a bass boat (I do) we have the RIGHT to go and fish anytime regardless if it affects anyone-anything or country. Our president down to city government has ask us to sacrifice A little " SHELTER IN PLACE" (Not to bleed or die for our country) like so many others have done to give so many "RIGHTS". This is why we must have BIG BROTHER to take care of those who can't discipline themselves. You know who YOU are. The question was asked does our constitution mean anything anymore?. My belief is "NO" it's all about "ME - MYSELF and I" Sorry about the rant. have a great day and GOD BLESS which by the way doesn't mean much anymore either.
