 Lake fork crappie or blue catfish

Can any 1 point me in the right direction to catch crappie or blue catfish I've only been to this lake one time and fish from the bank and caught a few small ones ,,,this time I will be going out in a boat to try my luck any helpful information will be greatly appreciated this will be the second time I will be going to this Lake thank you very much

Fish any of the creeks shallow with a slip cork and minnows near brush or vegetation and drop jigs in the shallow brush or vegetation.

Didn't hit the creeks just hit a bunch of different spots on the lake,,,only caught 10 keepers,,probably 19 in total,,,fished all day from 7am too 6 pm,,kind of disappointed,,,worked very hard to catch them,,,but did catch 3 crappie a lil over 2 pounds,,,
