I went to the witch doctor and haven't gotten it yet, so it must have worked.

Millions of Viet Nam vets took it! I took it for 18 months and the only side effect on me was the trots. After 3 days nothing. Damn right i would take again!!!! If this is the same drug I took back in Vietnam, then yes, it gave you the runs the next day, but they threatened to write us up if we didn't take it and came down with malaria. Yes, millions took it back then, and I would also take it without a second thought! Just make sure I had TP in hand.
Just one more cast!

Safer would be a comparison between 2 or more drugs or methods.
What are the other drugs and do you know the success rate? Thank you, All Doctors on Earth There are several other drugs mentioned in this article and you can find lots of other articles on the subject. Until they compare 2 or more drugs or methods and their success or failure no one knows which drug has the best success rate. As far as the success rate of any of the drugs there is not enough reliable data available to say this is the cure. It would be nice to know what treatments were used on the ones that have recovered. Possibly one drug works better for some conditions and another drug works better for a different condition. Hope is a good thing. False hope can sometimes be problematic. Hope and change is far more problematic

People have recovered from various treatments and no treatment. The question was "do you know the success rate?"

I did not know anyone recovered. By the chatter in the OT I assumed everyone died.

I did not know anyone recovered. By the chatter in the OT I assumed everyone died. Heck it seems they are hardly even keeping track of recoveries at all. Here in Texas some areas are not requiring a followup test after you are confirmed to have it. Quarantine for the required amount of time. If you are fever free for 3 consecutive days you are "pronounced" recovered but apparently no follow up required from local/state health officials. Wonder why little to no emphasis on the recovery rates?

Doesn't fit the narrative. Nope...also noticed that the President was pretty dead on in his pronouncing things would be a lot better by Easter as well but of course that has went silent. His goal was to reopen if things were better. He was shouted down that hundreds of thousands would be dead by then and he was crazy to say such a thing. I am gonna bet before too long he will reopen things.

The other thing for those that not agree with it being used before its "approved" as a COVID med.......you still have your right to refuse not to take it. How about not standing in the way of letting those that make the choice to try it? I've heardthis whole mask and staying home thing is done out of respect for others. Now is the time to pay back that respect and not try and get in the way of letting adults choose what medications they want to take when faced with dire situations.

Nobody who would deny use is in the public. Its done at some level in the healthcare field making those decisions. Hopefully they have a basis in knowledge to make those decisions. The feds are saying its ok to use in this emergency but also say they have not determined yet if its found to work for this pandemic. It seems to me most of the push back on the drug is because of sensitivity to hearing people just repeating what the feds are saying. I don't care so long as a doctor approves it.

My wife says that if covid 19 caused erectile disfunction there would have been a cure in 2 weeks. This really isnt relevant to this thread but it amused me. Me too.
