I saw they just lowered death projections again. This will end up killing less people than the flu

Think about this the next time you see a fireman working a car wreck, a house fire or a chemical plant fire in full turnout gear or hazmat suit with SCBA. Been there, done that and it is a young mans game.

Turns out shutting everything down has been highly effective slowing the spread of the virus. We are on or 4th day now without exponential growth. It's time to start considering reopening the economy as soon as possible. A great way to do that without immediately having exponential growth in new cases again... would be with a public mask policy! That would help get your restaurant reopened and your people back to work as quickly as possible!

Maybe you doom sayers just blew the deal. And while you relish the idea of the government making you wear a mask I'm not interested. I say hammer down

I relish the idea of the economy opening back up as quickly as possible without tons of dead people. Nothing more nothing less.

We have one of these. Don't like restrictions, willing to try unproven methods without testing, unwilling to wear a mask to reopen the economy and possibly save businesses and ease restrictions.

quandary
[ˈkwänd(ə)rē]
NOUN

a state of perplexity or uncertainty over what to do in a difficult situation.
"Kate is in a quandary"
synonyms:
dilemma · plight · predicament · state of uncertainty · state of perplexity · unfortunate situation · difficult situation · awkward situation · trouble · muddle · mix-up · [more]
a difficult situation; a practical dilemma.
"a legal quandary"

What did I waffle on John? I never said Masks were a bad idea. Even if I did say they were a bad idea (which I didn't), if I held an opinion and I became exposed to knew information that suggested my opinion was wrong, I change my stance. That doesn't make me a waffler, that makes me a rationale human being. I simply change my opinion to match the best available data. You on the other hand pick an opinion right or wrong and ride it to the grave pissing all over as many other people and ideas as you can along the way.

Forcing people to wear a face mask would be a violation of one's civil liberties no matter how effective it would actually be.

We're all well aware how the majority of this forum's members oppose any restriction of their freedom to do as they please.

1 out of every 757,255 people in Texas has died from this so far. John and Wawi, y'all need to be taking this more seriously.
