Picked some Gliss up at Academy on close out. First time trying it. Caught a few hundred sandies on it in the last week. . Casts awesome. Takes some getting used to. I just don't have much confidence in the palomar on it. Idk why. I just don't. What knot are y'all tying for line to bait with the monotex? Thanks.

Doubled uni/doubled Pitzen works great on all lines.
Takes a minute longer to tie than the palomar, but it self corrects as you cinch it. It's also a bulky, abrasion resistant knot

Fish-N-Fool knot. Similar in concept to a double uni but easier to tie. You pass the line through the hook eye twice, then tie a uni. Only one tag end to trim. It was a Knot Wars winner a few years ago.
