Breezy. Water really stained. I was pitching a wacky-rigged 6th Sense Clout 5.4 shallow into the pockets where spawning bass should be. Couldn't see any beds. Caught 2 eight inchers and a lot of sun.
Regards, Bart

I would kill for a chance just to get out when it's sunny.

Haven't been on the Lake in two weeks. The fish were on the buckbrush and rushes (thin green pencil looking grass) Right in front of the rushes and holes between them. Fished a Texas rigged weightless senko or wacky rigged, black wit blue fleck in stained water or Okeechobee craw VMC. Mid lake south the water had better color. Fish coves close to the main lake. Hope this helps if you are still there. Stay Safe.

Very critical to exercise a quiet approach from a long diatance away or even to bypass fish you see and return minutes later. Also don’t be afraid to fish behind one or two boats as a lot of fish are being overlooked. Plenty of male bass guarding fry as well.

Went out on Fork Tuesday just to run my boat. Hasn't been out for over a month. Everything was good. Merc cranked right up. Everything was good except for the fishing. Saw way too many boats, didn't see a bass caught by anyone. Hardly a place to park your trailer. Be safe.

Caught 6 on Tuesday. Mostly sight fishing. She turned on today though! Probably cleared 23-24 pounds on a frog alone. Frogged till 12:30 then headed to Searcy and caught 4 bed fish. It wasn’t lights out but it was daaaang close!

I had a pretty good day on Fork Tuesday. It was a very tough bite until it warmed up. Caught most of mine site fishing with a Rage Bug. I tried the frog but they weren't having any of it.
