The solution to any problem - work, love, money, whatever - is to go fishing, and the worse the problem, the longer the trip should be. --John Gierach

Yup. That's the one I've been using here for a while.

Here is one that I get daily from the city of Rowlett (some of Rowlett is in Dallas County, some of Rowlett is in Rockwall County):

that's impossible. many, many, many have been turned away at the ER's and PCP's due to non-emergent symptoms. There could literally be millions that have had it, got over it, and never had the shortness of breath (that is the fibrosis of lungs symptom that can kill you). There are many ppl that had the symptoms in Jan that I know of, that "could" have been corona or the flu??? Who knows. This biological weapon got out of hand quickly. Once the dust settles, I hope they go after who/whom created this and hang them in the town square for all to see!

How about posting number of cases along with population per the latest census? That to me would ease some fears.

This is true. I believe my wife and I may have had it in January and part of February. We both had mild flu like symptoms, Nothing severe but we had all of the known symptoms of the virus including shortness of breath and low grade fevers. It wasn’t like any cold or flu that we ever had. We had a persistent dry cough that only produced clear but very tacky phlegm. After taking the usual OTC meds we would start feeling better then it would come right back again. It was annoying but we never felt bad enough to stop our daily routines. After 3 weeks we finally decided to see our family physician and were given a steroid shot and put on antibiotics. The doctor told us that he had seen several other people with similar stories. Even after finishing the 10 days of antibiotics some of the symptoms still lasted for 2 more weeks.
If the antibody testing was available, I would certainly want to be tested.

You should consider being a plasma donor if you test positive. I think this is the best case for those in severe distress. I'd much rather try plasma antibodies over being put on a vent.

I live in Lufkin (Angelina Co.) and work in Nacogdoches (Nac. Co.) and the rate is 1/4 in Angelina as it is in Nac.

Now Nac has SFA Univ. so I "think" that has contributed to the larger number but we may never know? noidea

Shelby Co.'s rate is double what Nac is but the population is much lower.

I am not sure why it is so much higher unless it has to do with all the Chicken Industry there?

As you go Northeast toward Shreveport the numbers climb in each county/parish so I have to wonder if the Casino's played a big part in that number? hmmm
