With all of the negativity out there lately, I just wanted to share some things I'm grateful for in these crazy times.

I've been truly blessed over the last 4-5 years with work. My former employer, Nike Golf R&D, shut it's doors after I had worked there for 7 years. (Thanks Tiger!). Unsure of what was next, God saw fit to throw out all of my ridiculous plans and offer me something I never expected. I was given a tremendous job opportunity, and in the midst of all of this Corona virus stuff, the firm offered to move me from consulting to permanent employment with super pay/benefits.

I'm grateful for my family. My father has had tremendous success as well. They went through a rough patch several years ago and were very close to retirement. He had to work 2 jobs to make ends meat for quite a while. At virtually the exact same time as me, he was also given a tremendous job offer that has secured their retirement future.

Anyways......I could go on and on and on.......any glass half full stories to share with the class?

I'm also grateful to see how members of TFF are supporting each other and OT small business owners during the shutdown. thumb

It’s easy for people to lose sight of their blessings, I’m guilty of it for sure.

Great news Frenzy, glad you and your pop can celebrate together, socially distanced of course. I'm thankful to still be working and that we have a place to come and blow off some steam with like minded folks.

Congratulations Frenzy! I guess we know who to listen to next time we need to buy a new set of clubs.

great news Frenzy.

I'm blessed with two wonderful kids, A wife who has stuck by my side through all my health problems. Especially since we are not living the life we had hoped for but we are safe, full, and can afford all we have. I'm thankful to have my parents just 7 miles away, and the great relationship they get to have with my kids. Yes even glad my in laws live close so they too can see the grandkids. It hasn't always been easy, but we've made it through some tough times and we will make it through this too. God Bless each and every one of y'all.

Congrats Frenzy! Short version of how I'm blessed - I retired a couple of years back from a job I no longer enjoyed. Shortly after retiring, I was blessed to work a seasonal job with a company focused on fishing. Great experience, fun job and great people. Then I started a small handyman/light construction business, so that I'd have something meaningful to do a couple of days a week. That's now turned into full time business that I really enjoy. I'm back to loving my life again.

Thank you EGO. I bought one of those EGO weed eater, edger combos a while back. The weed eater has had some problems, and I had gotten it going last year. I called them up to ask for the correct part number so I could order a new weed eater attachment. They asked some questions, and sent me a new one at no charge. It was still under warranty. I didn’t expect that. Pleasantly surprised.

Now, I have one of their hedge trimmers. I don’t think I will take the plunge for a mower though. Decent sized yard.
