Global markets are up. S&P and DOW futures all up! Is this the beginning of the end?

New cases was way down yesterday as compared to the prior day for the first time in over two weeks. Hopefully that trend holds! That would be great news to be talking about.

Thousands of job loses a day.... market is not going to continue up.... if day trading awesome... if already out, ladder your way back in on down trends... if still in just turn off your computer and let it ride from here and continue to buy set amount weekly as a ladder in to offset some loss when the market comes back.

It is sure hard not to be hopeful with the cases declining but I am confused about how flattening the curve works long term. If we flatten the curve too early, doesn't that mean it just last longer according to conventional wisdom? Perhaps more have had it and have immunity than I am thinking. Seems to me that the fastest way to get past it is to have the apex of the curve coincide with hospital capacity and then start the decline because of immunity. Would appreciate your thoughts.
