Does anyone around the dfw area sell quality nymphs and streamers for rainbows? I am going to try and go up to Oklahoma and fish some of there small rivers for trout while we social distance. Looking to get some nymphs and streamers.

just go by the fly shop when you are up there, they will know what there biting on.

There are no fly shops in that area. Scotty's Blue River Store does sell some flies, but I don't know what they might have in the way of nymphs or streamers. I would also say that at this time of year, Turner Falls will be a complete waste of time in trying to catch trout. There may be a handful left in the stream.

Big Y fly is good. I ordered a euro nymphing setup from them Friday and it will be here Monday. I did not order flies from them because there are so many different named flies I get all confused. I am just looking for basic bh pheasant tail in black, brown and olive and regular pheasant tail in the same colors.

I might sell you some if interested but they are some of the main euro patterns. I only use barbless hooks and tungsten beads. Actually the Blue River is fishing pretty good right now also

Turf Dawg the rod is a syndicate pipeline 10ft 3 weight with an orvis clearwater reel and Rio euro nymphing line. I am not on any social media sites. I will send you a pm.

Thanks. After studying awhile I got a Redington 9’ 5 weight with a rise reel. It is a nice do most things alright setup. After studying a few more weeks I realized I would love euro nymph fishing. It is a lot like some forms of bass fishing. So now I have two setups and never even been trout fishing. I guess it is a good thing my wife wants to try fly fishing also.
