Thanks Dan - just bought a couple packs. I have a P100 mask that I use for when I'm spraying the yard, but it's only rated to .3 microns, while the virus is more in the .07-.09 micron range.

3M does make N95 mask in the USA as well as China. The controversy with them was that it was discovered they were still filling orders from the USA plants to Canada and Latin America when some thought they should be keeping all their product in the USA. They did redirect a large number of mask from their China plant to the USA. Can you show a link? The Administration also requested that 3M cease exporting respirators that we currently manufacture in the United States https://news.3m.com/blog/3m-stories...m_source=short-url&utm_campaign=4pNUYeah. Not believing anything 3M spouts. The image consultants will run 3M for the foreseeable future. Earlier this week they got caught and are backpeddling as fast as they can.

Something tells me we'll be using them more frequently. . . . . . .
If anyone knows where to get a couple of 100-glove boxes of:
Hardy #64417 XXL 5mil Nitrile disposable gloves I'd love to find . . . . . even one box would help immensely. Every time I pass a Harbor Freight I double back and check - to no avail.
Thanks in advance . . . . .

Has anyone done the research on the best way to sanitize the masks after use? I've been leaving mine in a paper bag for 3+ days and then setting it in UV light (sunlight) for a couple hours. I have no clue if that's the best way to get extended use out of them. In my mind they should be reusable almost indefinitely this way if I'm just wearing them on grocery runs.
I think everyone should have a couple of these masks, but the last thing we want is the general population hoarding these things when doctors who are the front lines are having trouble getting them. I suggest cooking it in the microwave to kill anything on it rather than depending on UV rays. Steaming it over a pot of boiling water and then drying it out might even prove better.

You need to be trained to properly wear a N95 mask. If not I doubt it would work any better than a normal mask. Plus if you have facial hair it's probably not working anyways.

Training? to put on a facemask? Don't see training being needed That's the new talking point. We idiots won't know how to put on and take off the mask without getting the china virus so we might as well not try.

Thanks for the link, I ordered some too! Might want to check this out... thatdailydeal.com company sure has some poor reviews.. Yep, all made in china junk. Some are made in Wuhan, ground zero for this china flu. John showed a video where some of the material during production fell on the floor and they picked it up and shoved it back into the production pile. There is nothing sanitary about the masks, you may be shoving the Wuhan Flu into your sinuses with these masks. By the way Is this what we are to become? Face masks and gloves anytime you go outside? Real nice.
