Very similar to one of the baits that I build; except I put a 3D Eye into a Minnow type head. This is a Ball Head Short Arm spinner. The eye is a signature eye that Hart Spinner Baits used on the early models. Now they are using the 3D Eye.

If you would like me to build you some just let me know. I can even paint that same eye or put the largest 3D eye that the Ball Head will allow. I will have to order the Ball Head blanks. I have the blades.

Each person you work with holds some promise to your future success.

Looks like Diamondback made in Ardmore Oklahoma. Jim watts made them and sold all he could make. I could order wire size, blade size and configuration, skirt type and color. Everything custom. I usually ordered6 dozen at a time. Thanks, brought back good memories of times and people passed.

Yep. John Dixon also built a real similar bait. Diamondback had a better paint on head and crossed eyes. Used some of them in the 70’s.

Good info Mr Harper. Your willingness to help a guy out is very generous. Time, materials, and the quality that I've seen of your SBs is a clue that you aren't doing it for the money.

OMG... this is an old Dixon Bass Lure. They were around in the late 70's to early 80's. I caught a ton of fish on those. I still have a few left.
