I have gained weight.I lose and I gain. I started using my treadmill for something other than a clothes rack .I do 30 minutes at lunch and after work.I have cut my portions in half.
The wife made chili dogs last night.I only ate one dog with chili on it and about 5 tater-tots . (No bun).
And I had an apple later because I was hungry as heck.

and I am drinking water. No sweet tea

Good job! I live on the treadmill. Its great because I can train in any weather condition.

Also, it is great for racing in the sense of mental strength. If you can beat the boring dreadmill in your mind for long periods, an outdoor race will be a breeze.

Treadmills are good ..IMO ellipticals have a little more benefits. Whatever works for you and moves you forward in a better direction is all that matters. Mix things up and try to keep things different and interesting. Good luck the sacrifice is worth it.
