Hey yall, going out on Lewisville tomorrow for the first time this season. Wondering how the bite has been with all the rain? Been on grapevine quite a bit in the past weeks and want to change it up a bit

Good luck! Looking forward to the report. Went out today in Little elm Creek and didn't catch any crappie. Tried to switch to catfish and didn't catch anything. Water is very stained (at least in the north east end of the lake). <6" visibility.

I did catch a 36" gar on my crappie set up with 6lb test, a road runner, and a black and pink bobby Garland. No pictures because I was in a kayak and it nearly knocked me off the boat when it decided to jump into me. Did have two witnesses watching from the bank though haha it was a heck of a fight and I'm sure entertaining for them to watch me get pulled around.

Good luck! All of the water has made the fishing really tough.

It has been slow for me. I have been bank fishing and wading. Hopefully it will pick up soon. Good luck!
