I just built a shelf out of cedar and let them nest. It spares the paint. The droppings are nasty but remember it's all bugs

Plastic owls , rubber snakes and old cds work well but you have to keep moving them around every week or so .
Keep knocking the nests down (as long as no eggs are present) .
Dealing with Phoebes nesting under Mom's front porch right now . They're great bug catchers but they like to perch/poop on her rocking chairs .

This little guy works for me. Note that I have the old school blue ceiling. Did not work at all. Now I just need to get rid of the spider web. ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2020/03/full-41433-45267-dscn0574.jpg)

What about driving some nails in the middle of the ledge and running some fishing string all the way around??

Here's the easiest solution. Pull a lizard out of your tackle and pin it down up there and they'll never bother you again. If you don't pin it down, they will move it and keep building. They will not return. Trust me!
