I remember that taxiway across the freeway but not the highway number here in DFW.

That spot had a Civil Defense fallout shelter underneath and was full of supplies. When the bridge was removed and 183 rebuilt, the supplies and fallout shelter were removed.

After the airport shut down, we always partied on the south runway and held races out there.
