Texas says if you travel into Louisiana, don’t plan to come back for two weeks. Love to see how this will pan out!

I think it’s more “if you come across the Louisiana border in to Texas, you need to quarantine for two weeks,” not so much, “enjoy your two weeks in Louisiana, which would make you more likely to catch it!”

They were talking about this on the new here in Houston today, had a news crew at the Tx/La boarder. They showed the rest station/visitors center and there was 4 DPS troopers parked there, according to people that talked to the new station the people coming in are suppose to pull over and ask the troopers for the papers with the Covid 19 questions...….yeah like that is going to happen

That would be the Sabine River.

And there are a bunch of Farm to Market and county roads that cross the TX/LA border.

anyone they stop and detain or turn back has a very good civil rights lawsuit, 14th amendment prohibits it.

All persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

I think we suspended the Constitution a few weeks back. I type this while under house arrest for something I have not done. Pre-crime detention under the assumption I will get someone else sick but everyone is ok with it so...it is good.

Um, I can answer that one after coffee has percolated through me. Something about equal application of the law to everyone.

I actually agree with the suggestions being made, it is the governors and mayors that are threatening jail for those who do not comply that I have a problem with, regardless of party.

historically if it is this easy to control the masses then next time something comes along that a leader can use it will just be more restrictive and severe if allowed to happen without objection. our govt. has proven this time and time again.

if you don't have enough common sense to do what is needed till a vaccine or at least for sure drugs to cure it come then ya get what ya get. for those with no choice I wish the best and good health. the "me me me" people are thinning themselves out right now by ignoring recommendations.

Listened to the LA Lieutenant Gov. on the news last night. He was blaming Texans for the closing of Toledo Bend. Said they were camping out and partying and he'd never seen so many people at the lake.

Seriously doubt they were all Texans.

Yeah they threw the constitution right out quick didnt they. On the bright side maybe this will keep the cajuns from fileting all the bass east texas for a while.
