75k or less per = 1200 150k per couple or less = 2400 500 per child The rest is too complicated to figure out And we will all pay for it dearly later

I don't know why these sites have single and married but forget about head of household. You know some of us single folks have dependents.

With the delayed tax filing allowed you can forego filing for a couple months and use your 2018 return if that puts you in a better position and it is that important to you.

With the delayed tax filing allowed you can forego filing for a couple months and use your 2018 return if that puts you in a better position and it is that important to you. And then it will be reconciled on your taxes for 2020 if you. But I think if it betters you then you will not have to pay it back, but if you lost your job and would have qualified for more then you will get an adjustment on your 2020 taxes.

when does this start? Shouldn't check start getting deposited soon? Last I heard was sometime in May. Not sure if it is accurate or not.

I just did my taxes last week, my tax lady said the IRS was about 1/2 staffed right now due to the virus, and 1/2 of that 1/2 was working on stimulus checks. She told me some of her clients were still waiting on refunds that were filed >30 days ago. I'm hoping the stimulus checks are getting processed first.

Just remember all the add ons they threw in there that could have gave the working class more. Pay raises, PBS and the Kennedy Center are apparently more important than the average American.
Every single one of them need voted out.
Also keep in mind. They will want that money back. So are they really doing Americans a favor?
I'm still working, and have plenty in the bank. Which is where that check will go until next tax season when they want it back. If you need it, I'm happy for you. If not, keep in mind. Whether you cash it or not. They will want YOUR money back like the thieves they are
