Getting some needed "Outdoor Activity" is very important,especially during these times! Got a chance to put "Social Distancing" to use the other day. Met my good buddy Clayton aka The Wildman of the Navadad at one of our favorite fishing spots. We had a great time and talked all about fishing. It was great catching a few nice fish and joking around. Life was actually normal for a few hours. Hearing running water,birds chirping,and the wind blowing through trees was icing on the cake. At the end of the short trip we both concluded. "It was exactly what the Doctor ordered. Fishing a nice quite place and hearing nature speak. It just don't get any better!

With the Zebco 33 threads recently it got me thinking nostalgic. I bought some new line and pulled out my first outfit from 45 plus years ago. Hitting the creek down the road with my spousal unit tomorrow with simplicity in mind. Bobbers and the BOC. She’s been fishing with me before but nothing so simple like this that made me love fishing so much as a kid.

Wow, sure sorry I wasn't able to practice that social distancing with ya all, Friday. I've been fly fishing every day this past week and ended up with twisted something or other in my back. Can't hardly walk upright. Looks like I will have to go back to bucket sitting and very short walks to the fishing hole for awhile. Oh well, sure glad I have a puter to watch all those "how to" fishing videos on U-Tube.

Thanks Tommar, Steve, and Rick for the replies. Steve: Yes Sir that place does hold some nice fish. Very blessed that it is not all that far of a drive. Tommar: There is a silver lining behind every bad event. Getting reacquainted with a close by fishing hole is one of them. Enjoying the simple life is yet another. Rick: I am sure that I will see you out there a lot, especially during this time of "Social Distancing"!

Great pictures. We are lucky to be in Texas. Some states have shutdown fishing completely.
