PRAY!!!!


Today a friend of mine posted this to his Facebook page and I thought it was important enough to post on this site as well.

"Someone has said that if Christians really understood the full extent of the power we have available through prayer, we might be speechless. Did you know that during WWII there was an advisor to Churchill who organized a group of people who dropped what they were doing every day at the prescribed hour for one minute to collectively pray for the safety of England, its people and peace?

There is now a group of people organizing the same thing here in America. If you would like to participate: Every evening at 8pm Central time, stop what you are doing and spend one minute at 8:00 - 8:01 pm praying for the safety of the United States, our troops, our citizens, and for a return to a Godly nation. If you have a smart phone set set an alarm to pray from 8:00 - 8:01 pm. Please pass this along to your prayer family and friends. Our prayers are the most powerful asset we have."

I would add to that to pray for the citizens and leaders of this nation to repent and turn from their wicked ways. Pray that God would touch the hearts of the politicians of this once-great nation to convict them of their ungodly, sinful ways.

great idea, the power of prayer and almighty God will get us through this.

Amen!

What’s he got against restaurants anyway?

I'm pretty sure he's in control of everything, he just likes to see how much pain and suffering we can endure before we come begging for help. If you read the old testament he was constantly punishing the Israelites for their immorality and not obeying his laws. One of his favorite ways to punish them was with plagues, similar to viruses. I'm not saying he is responsible for the Corona virus but I think he is certainly capable. Feel free to substitute praying for begging. Me, I'm doing both.

You dont have to. I know I didnt for a long time. I always thought I had control, but discovered otherwise about 14 years ago. You will too one of these days. Hopefully it want be as painful a lesson as mine ways.

I believe God is in complete control. I do not even begin to understand everything God does. I just believe in the end it will be for our benefit. I do not understand why Job went through what he did, but he had a much better life after he went through everything than before.

Paul certainly didn't.

I believe that ALL things on this Earth were created by our God in Heaven. Even this virus mess. Why? I don't know. I pray each night for Him to stop it tho. God says He Loves His Children but look what is happening to them. Lord, please kill this virus. Amen
