Does anyone know what type of wheel bearings this trailer takes? I was wondering if they were special to champion as are bass cat and rangers.

All wheel bearings (or almost and other bearings for that matter) have identifying numbers on them. Pull the hub off and you should be able to see the outer one. The grease seal will have to come out to see the number on the inner one
There will also be a number on the inner seal and you will need to replace the seal, so don't tear it up getting it out so that you can get the number off of it.

Vortex is a TieDown label and just like UFP these are all Dexter Companies now.
Every major trailer hub made today is by a Dexter company as Dexter purchased their competition in this market.
Get good brand bearings wherever, that match, and be sure you get marine seals with double lips. Nothing huge and special, though matching them exactly can be harder.

Be way better off to verify the correct bearings and seals via the number on it or by getting a mic and measuring it. If it doesn't have a number on the bearing that you can read go to purvis industries or motion industries both are in Tyler. They can measure it and find the correct fit. Most likely they have it in stock. If it has a number run it up to Orielly's, if they don't have it in stock they can get it next day. I wouldn't trust the stock numbers on a trailer of that age unless you have owned it since it was new. Greater than zero chance that a new axle or wheel hub may have been put on it at some point.

pull a full set, take them to napa and tell them you need the marine seals, they should be able to match them up with some good timken bearings.
most champs are 1 1/8 and 1 1/16 bearings but pull a set to be sure.
I have a 95 202 champ
