Thad Rains TFF Team Angler T Joined: Oct 2001 Posts: 3,562 Lubbock, Texas.	Good combo for a good price, I bet. YOU CAN fish deep crankbaits with it, but you will probably get pretty tired, doing it. My deep CB reels are actually in the 5.1:1 to 5.6:1 rancge, but I like keeping by CB in the strike zone longer than most people. I have caught more fish in the slower zones. UNLESS they are feeding rapidly and schooling, then a 7 gear ratio is preferable. At least for me. It WILL work, but you probably need to start getting some exercise on your arms. Hope this helps.
