I'm just south of Waco and saw one a couple weeks ago. Thought that was pretty early. Haven't seen another since.

A bit early for central Texas isn't it? I have a big bottle-brush tree in my side yard that hummers love. Haven't seen one, yet. what is that? They showed up at my feeder on Lake Travis about 5 days ago.

I saw a dead one a few months ago on my walking trail in my subdivision 300 more and you'd have enough for a two person meal!

They showed up here yesterday in Eastland county. Not many, just a couple at a time.

They showed up at my feeder on Lake Travis about 5 days ago. Yep, saw our first one at our place on Bee Creek on 3/20. Two days later we had 3 or 4 coming around regularly.
