It is considered an outdoor activity. I am going by myself. Besides it is also essential that I catch food for my family.

I'm heading to Houston County in the morning from Houston pulling the boat so we'll see! As far as I know outdoor activities are exempt

The state and county orders all list outdoor activity as an essential activity. They also state that any travel to or from an essential activity to be except from the restrictions.
I've got my county's order printed, with the appropriate lines highlighted, just in case a confused officer has any issue with me. I doubt that it will even be needed. The orders are quite clear. If you are fishing alone, you are clearly in compliance with the orders.

I don't think anyone is going to pull you over. I went to Fork yesterday and saw dozens of police / troopers out while coming and going. They all seem to be doing their usual thing.

Its crazy you have to ask this but Washington state did just close all fishing until April 8th, I have good authority New Mexico has closed most all lake access as well!
