Anyone fished this lake the past day or two?
I went the past 2 evening for about 2 hours each day and only caught one fish. I'm seeing lots of beds but no fish on them. I'm guessing the cold front and rain have them messed up.
Thanks
Drew

Planning on going out Thursday morning. Does anyone know if the ramp is open? No issues launching? Didn’t want to make the hour and half drive for nothing.

I fish it often, it’s getting hammered right now. Every cove seems to have 3-4 boats. I only saw bucks on bed and only about 1 fish for every 8 beds. I was productive by fishing wind blown banks. Most fish were 3-5 ft with plastics.
I will say everyone on the lake has been courteous, and good sportsman.

I’m in East Texas and have not yet caught a single rough looking bass. Nothing but males. I think People think temp is more important than actually what your seeing on fish you catch which would be cold hard factual evidence.

I havent been out since last Thursday but for 3-4 trips out before then I was only seeing/catching males. My son has found a few females this week, but I dont think the spawn is anywhere near over here in ETX.

The spawn will occur in waves. Early in the month when the full moon was just past, probably the first wave showed up. They'll keep coming for the remainder of the month and maybe into next month.

We fished last night and only saw males on beds and fished the majority of the lake. No one caught a fish over 21”
