Read the definitions. Stay home and stay at home are two different things.

Exactly.

Anyone on here a game warden or know one. I’m curious to know their thoughts.

I know some guys in California that were headed to Clear Lake this past weekend , towing a boat , the Highway patrol pulled them over and advised that they were not considered "essential travel " and that they needed to head directly home or be issued a citation . They were closer to the lake when they got pulled over than to their houses . The Officer didn't want to hear it .

Lone Wolf -- Before you call some out for BS --
I live in California , I post on this website because my son lives in the great state of Texas and I enjoy fishing there with him . What I posted is a fact . Clear Lake is now closed --- but it was after these guys were sent home by the Highway patrol . Law enforcement and Lake County officials got scared at the numbers of people that went out . Some of the Lakes in Cali shut down earlier than others and it seemed random how they did it . Some lakes are not even open for bank fishing . THey are closing most of the lakes until 4/7 at the earliest .

I'm not happy about it at all but not sure what we can do... I'd hope an officer would just turn a person around and tell em to go home before laying a Class B Misdemeanor on someone, but they do always look for a person to make an example of and plaster all over the news.

That is what I thought also but decided to read the order. Under definitions, Essential activities - To engage in outdoor activity, provided the individuals comply with social distancing requirements of 6 feet (for example, walking, biking, hiking, golfing, or running). Then go down to Essential travel- e. Essential Travel. For the purposes of this Executive Order, Essential Travel includes travel for any of the following purposes. i. Any travel related to the provision of or access to Essential Activities, Essential Governmental Functions, and Essential Businesses Essential Critical Infrastructure, Minimum Basic Operation;

So you can engage in outdoor activity and you can drive to and from essential activities. Not sure what you are going to do about the 6' rule if you have a partner in the boat sitting next to you while you drive.

Not sure I understand shelter in place from what I’m hearing you can pretty much come and go as you please everything seems to be essential or people are just going to disregard the orders. I say open everything up let’s get this [censored] over with!
