 Denton creek report

I have been the last 3 mornings at daylight putting in at the Marshall Creek Park ramp (now Trophy Club Park). Tuesday I caught 20 with the smallest being 12”. Wednesday only caught 6, and today 6. I’m not complaining by any stretch. I’ll take 6 crappie any day. They were all caught in about 3-5’ of water suspended at around 18”. Today I caught 5 of the 6 in about 1’ of water. All were on a simple white jig. There were guys using different colors all around but the white was working the best. I didn’t see anyone doing any good on minnows. If you’re a sand bass fan, bows a good time to get up that creek. They’re all over the place
