I wonder if the current situation we find ourselves in has caused anyone to learn how to or to restart canning garden veggies etc.
has this been a wake up call for anyone?
I got dinty moore and campbells chunky along with wolf brand chile and ranch style beans so I am good.

I was just wondering if there might not be a run on garden seed. Might be a good idea to get your seeds now in case.

Mostly, we have learnEd to enjoy cooking and eating more meals at home. Not ready to start canning vegetables or milking a cow, but cooking a meal at home is pretty satisfying. You really have to search for any silver lining to this disaster.

My wife has been doing this for years. We have chickens, pigs, a few cattle, a big garden, bees, etc.
She even makes our soap, hand sanitizer, shampoos, etc.
I CAN provide fish, but never keep any.
Home grown food tastes better, IMO.

So who is the first TFFer who is going to get busted spending the night hiding out in a grocery store hoping to buy toilet paper and other essentials when the store opens?
