As far as an OG square bill, I would mention Spence scout, maybe not a true square bill but very close with the same actions, and results
Those who do not know how to fish should not disgrace a fish by catching it

For the money, I don't think you can beat a Academy H2O crankbait.

SK 1.5 or 2.5 in powder blue / chartreuse. Change the hooks to short shank Mustad EWG trebles.

Mike, I’ve heard some good things about that one. I know you’ve won some money on it! I’ve caught some of my biggest fish on it... I need to go visit pilot point and get some more. Looks like Sportsman is closed permanently?

As most of you know, a squarebill crankbait can load the boat certain times of the year. In this video I explain exactly my mindset on picking squarebills, colors to use, and what size I choose for certain seasons. Let me know what you think! https://youtu.be/vHe3juR3uq8With that, what’s your favorite squarebill? (Brand, Size, Color) I personally like a Lucky Craft BDS 3 in dirty shallow warm water, a 6th Sense Lure Company Flat Crush 75X for pressured fish or in cold water below the low 60s, and a Strike King 1.0 or 1.5 year round. All of these baits run true, come in a great variety of colors, and are built to last! Its best to remember that the size of your line can make a substantial difference between getting 0 and many bites during your day on the water. My personal favorite to begin with is 12lb fluorocarbon line, in cleaner water or around less cover I will use 8-10lb line. Good luck fishing!
Respectfully,

The real OG. Just to think that really kicked off a major craze. actually not the OG, I would consider a bang-0 lure to be one though. +1
