People can leave their homes to care for a relative or a friend or seek health care services.”

Right, the quarantine at this point is nothing more than a gentile suggestion. In China, it's been a little firmer. Like if they caught you outside they'd drag you back to your apartment kicking and screaming and weld the door shut.

For the two time offenders they locked them in an apartment building then collapsed the building.

Don't know if California did the same thing as Pennsylvania, but when Penn. Gov.Tom Wolf made a similar order yesterday (before Calif), they released a document that said what business were considered "Life Sustaining" that were exempt from the "Lock Down". http://www.pahousegop.com/Display/SiteFiles/1/OtherDocuments/20200319WolfBizList.pdf

May you be treated the way you treat other people, today and everyday!

Well shoot. This just took down my job. Manufacturing is shut down. Nothing is going to be made or shipped.

We are already doing pretty much the same things here in Texas now that California is. Many other states are as well and some beat California to implementing them. There is conspiracy here where one state is a test case. If people would read what these declarations actually say and allow it would alleviate a ton of misinformation and fear mongering.

Well apparently plastics companies are deemed medically necessary. So even though the rest of the country is off work, I just got handed business #5 to work the phones for. Cheap bastard has only shipping and manufacturing in the office (that's four people, and two of those are his kids) , and he figures since I'm already used to being remote, I can just answer home office's number as well.

But, hey, I'm necessary enough to be recognized by the state of California as an exception. "Thank you for calling ... which company is this again?"
