Lets post the numbers of confirmed cases in your county from "day to day" and see how the numbers are rising. Then edit your existing post and add new numbers when they are available.

Maybe add confirmed deaths??

Example*

Weld CO Colorado

Date confirmed cases
3/19 5

3/25 22

3/30 52

I doubt we'll ever know the actual number of cases out there. Just until I think either yesterday or today, the only people who could be tested were those who were already showing severe symptoms, and in the most critical age range, AND had known exposure to someone else who was a carrier.

As of today, my cousins in Houston are showing symptoms, but were still ordered to come to work. Others in their 20s showing symptoms are told by the hospitals and doctors to go home. That they have tested negative for the flu, and did do a proper covid19 test, but said it would be five days before they got a result back.

Meanwhile they're just going about their daily business.

Washington Parish - 2 case(s) | 0 death(s)

FYI, here's the stats on the 8 deaths in Louisiana so far. 4 deaths at a retirement community and one was a patient in a hospital. Seems we're not taking very good care of the elderly and vulnerable ones.

The first death related to COVID-19 in the state was reported on Saturday, March 14. The 58-year-old Orleans Parish resident had underlying health conditions and was also being treated at Touro Infirmary Hospital and Medical Center.

A second death was reported on Sunday, March 15.

A third death, an 84-year-old was reported on Monday, March 16. That death was recorded at Lambeth House.

The fourth death reported on Tuesday, March 17, was an 80-year-old individual who also lived at Lambeth House.

On Wednesday, March 18, two more deaths, a 98- and 92-year-old, were reported. Both residents Lambeth House

A seventh death reported on Wednesday, March 17 was 72-year-old Jefferson Parish resident.

An eighth death has been reported in state. The Louisiana Department of Health says the 60-year-old individual was a St. James Parish resident.

That's crazy. I wrote the protocol for our North American factories. We take a weekly survey of every employee looking at things like travel history and current symptoms. We use that to create a risk score. If the score gets to high we do not allow them in the buildings. Way to risky to infect a whole plant than to have someone sick coming in to work.

i have no idea how many people in Guadalupe county have a cold, and donโ€™t care. I just wish they would quit acting the fool so I can go to HEB and shop like normal.
