I have family out there, said they felt the shame but had no damage-
What has happed to you does not define who you are-
HOW you react to what happens to you DOES!

Let's see ... if we say that empty grocery stores are the precursor to famine, then we have:
famine flooding rains earthquakes plague
Someone told me that there were swarms of locusts in Africa ... but that might be a scurrilous internet rumor. I was just joking with mom the other day...wait until the crickets and grasshoppers get here. It will be another of the 7 signs or plagues.

Damn it, we know you're a smart feller but don't get to using them that big words that the most of us had to go look up to see what you meant. precursor: granma always said that granpa had a precursor, he always said well just before he cursed. That's good.

Was in SLC doing my internship 1999 when they had that nader. I was in the Wasatch trout fishing and exploring the snowboard runs before the snow falls
The folks in SLC were hardly fazed at all. Prepared group of people for sure. Going forward, I think we can learn from some of their values and habits.

This reminds me of a story:
One day one of the Cardinals in the Vatican rushed into the Pope's office and said, "Your eminence, I have good news and bad news!"
The Pope says well give me that good news first,
The Cardinal answers and says. "The Lord is on the phone and wants to talk to you."
The Pope, "That's wonderful!" "How can that be be bad news?"
The Cardinal, "He's calling from Salt Lake City."
