FTR, my Bug A Salt will only knock down about 25% of close range hits. I'm disappointed. Wasps may have a stronger exoskeleton here in the Pineywoods. Have you attempted to clean the feed system by flushing with hot water? Oh, and mine is the 3.0 version... hits harder that my ver 2 does

For those with issues with their bug assaults. If you are closer than a foot then it’s not that effective. There’s a sweet spot from about 18”-24”.

About 3 ft at the extreme end,
I added a laser sight and use the weapons grade salt they sell and that combination gives me an effective knock down /kill ratio. You added a laser sight!?!? Now, that's a Texan right there!

With the laser sight adjusted I get a nickle size shot pattern at about 2.5 ft
