FYI, If you use the bigger rock salt out of a grinder it is a little more effective on the wasp than just table salt.

(Disclaimer);
Not for those who aren't familiar with boiling water.
Dip a big cup of it and throw it at the wasps.
It'll knock them down and out faster than any chemicals known to man.

Mo,

About 3 ft at the extreme end,
I added a laser sight and use the weapons grade salt they sell and that combination gives me an effective knock down /kill ratio.

So will a strong solution of water and dishwashing liquid and it won't hurt you to get it on you.

Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools won't heed it.

FTR, my Bug A Salt will only knock down about 25% of close range hits. I'm disappointed. Wasps may have a stronger exoskeleton here in the Pineywoods.

Yes that works just as well.
I should've added another disclaimer about getting boiling water on you but I just figured those who know how to boil water probably already knew not to get it on them.

I hope you followed the instructions and didn't shoot them in the face or eyes.

True... I tried shooting some yellow jackets last year. Good thing I can still move in my old age.
