KVD - 6 lbs yesterday, Kelly Jordan 3 lbs yesterday, Roy Hawk 7 lbs.... look further down the leaderboard for more of a real picture. The guys catching them make the lake look awesome, but there’s still 20-30 of the best fishermen in the world getting their butts handed to them. Don’t let the footage fool you into thinking the lake magically started fishing good again.

For most the guys it fishing about like it has been for most of us out there. We stumble across a few every now and then but for the most part the numbers are way down but when you find them the size is nice. I was thinking the pros would put 15-25 in the boat most every day and be pretty tightly grouped with a few giants separating the field out. But she is still fishing tough for most. I bet they crush Em on Athens if the weather doesn’t wreck everything.

It’s always been feast or famine for me. I had some long miserable days out there catching 1 ofr zer0 and days of 30-40 fish with 10-15 4 and 5 pounders Yep

Oh the MLF Official just had zinger. Alton Jones JR said he didn't have to weigh the fish because he was accurately predicting the weight. The official quipped back, that's fine as long as you are okay with Ike calling his own weight too. Ike is always "biggun.. biggun.. it's a Giant... giant" Then they weigh, 1lb 6ozs.

I was hoping more guys would start running points later in the tournament and find some more big prespawn fish but it was hard to get off the bank after what they saw the first day.
