I have a little 8 footer with a trolling motor I want to take out and catch some crappie on either or both of these lakes this week weather permitting. I know the bridges are always a sure bet on Bob Sandlin, but would like to try some creek fishing if the chop is too high on the big lake. Is there a public launch on any of the creeks going into these lakes?

Launch at the state park and troll around the pier.... go into state park cove and fish with Minnow and slip cork until you find them. Put the minnow up and start using jigs. Iโd target 4โ-1โ until bit. They in there

Could launch at public ramp #1 on Sandlin or pay down at Barefoot bay. Both are close to shallow fishing.

You could probably get on Monti too Can you still get on Monticello? I'd heard the county park was closed.
