They showed another angler that accidentally snagged one and he released it. I was surprised when he weighed his.
I hate photobucket.

it was a senko, he was not sight fishing. If you fish a fluke or senko you know the fish slowly move off with the bait so you set into them hard. Sight fishing.. the fish has to be hooked in the mouth. Blind casting.. don’t think it matters. I’ve seen other pros weigh fish after snagging them in the back/tail on cranks. I think it would be up to the official to say if it was not a legal catch.... and he did not. I don’t believe the guy was poled down and pitching to a specific spot. Not that it really matters much, as his weight still zeros in the knockout round. Maybe one of y’all should call MLF and verify the rule. If I’m wrong, and he was poled down and fishing a specific bed please let me know. That’s not what I remember.

The fact that he tried to hide it and that he “thought it was a gar” let’s you know he was not on the up and up.
I bed fish often with a senko.

He was polled down and pitching to the exact same spot over and over and even claimed the fish he saw was a gar. Guy was sight fishing plain as day.

He was staring straight at the spot he was pitching to and was looking right at it when he raked his bait over the fishes back. Then after he landed it he mentioned how he "wasn't even looking" but before he saw it and "thought it was a gar." Well which is it?? lol. He was clearly worried the fish wouldn't count and was trying to do everything he could to keep the weight.
Thats my money fish Kris Winhold

I don't know anything at all about Jeff good or bad but I would guess his marshal would want to never get drawn for him again.

Was this the same guy that made his marshall weigh fish 3 times, thats a 5 pounder, nope 4.13! I also saw him hiding the fish so the camera would not catch it, thought it was rather odd!

Subtract that fish’s weight and he’s still in second place yesterday. Just looked to see if it would have made a difference. That guy can still out fish anyone posting on this thread by far. It is humorous to watch these train wreck threads. Great for ratings, though!

Just because if you subtract a weight it still puts him in x place or he's a better fishermen then whoever makes breaking rules acceptable and justified? He should be Dq'd

It is humorous to watch these train wreck threads. Great for ratings, though! Who cares if he can out fish someone if he cheats? Just because if you subtract a weight it still puts him in x place or he's a better fishermen then whoever makes cheating acceptable and justified? He should be Dq'd I didn't see the video. But if he did snag it sight fishing he absolutely should be dq'd

[s][/s] If he tried that with the whole world watching imagine what he would do with nobody watching..... If true I agree. Remeber last year there were a couple of small fines handed out supposedly without much said.
