Make sure you call 811 at least 48 hours prior to beginning your excavation. You don’t want to find a gas line or high voltage electric under the grass.
Team wolfs I had to perform. It took a minute to get it all in my mouth and another five to swallow it all.

No trying to be a smart [censored], but you actually bought that house after seeing how the yard sloped towards the foundation?
He is truly a sick individual.

It's all hills with retaining walls on both sides of lots. I believe most houses have water coming to the house from some direction, back or one of the sides. It's just that mine didn't have a channel redirecting it around. Who knows, maybe when the house was built 50 years ago it did.

Sprinkler system cut on both ends and pulled out. Area is clear for earthwork to occur next week.

I hope you are not wasting your time and money by not doing everything correctly and in the right order... good luck.

Some spot elevations/topo could have a decent grading plan, looks like lake country which is a drainage nightmare, good luck and keep us updated on the progress

I had a similar problem, not as severe as yours, with a house I owned and fixed it by grading a drainage trough away from the house. The person that did it had to painstakingly plan what they were doing as far grading and determining the best direction and depth for the trough. Lots of dirt had to be taken away It fixed the problem though

Busy as hell right now. I have nearly matched my total OT from last year already this year. Who is Westside? Previous TS employee?

I like to see photo of the front.
which way you going to take the water once you dig a hole. Looks like a Sump pump would be the best option.
What ever you do i would think about tying the rain gutters into the new drain

Here's a snapshot from google street view. I'm going to make sure there is a channel for the gutters to spill into the ditch. Water in my front yard drains from left to right. It also drains towards my back fence line.
