Daiwa Samarai is best. I use 55lb for most but go down to 30lb for crankbaits just for attaining depth.

If you donโ€™t care about color daiwa samurai is probably the best. It only comes in green. 30 is thin.


I use some green Samurai, but mostly the YELLOW Samurai.
PLUS the same line in the metered version called Saltiga Boat multi-color.

For a closed face spinning reel (spincast) the stiffer superlines work better like Fireline and Stealth.
