So question. Why do y’all get 4 12 volts instead of 1 36v for TM and 1 12v for starting? I’m seriously thinking about going this route due to hole shot and space in my champion. With Dual PP pumps and 4 batteries I don’t even have room for an onboard charger. I’m tired of hooking and unhooking batteries and carrying extra stuff when I stay at the lake I had two 36v Lithium Pros 40ah batteries for my trolling motor (80ah total) and two 12v Lithium Pros for starter and electronics. I had it for over a year and got frustrated because the 36v went dead on me twice. There is no reasonable way to monitor the charge status. So now I pulled them out an put in FOUR 12v Ionic batteries listed above in the 3rd post. I love them because they have a bluetooth app where I can check the charge on my phone. Also, their customer service has been great. The bluetooth stopped working on one of the batteries and they sent me a new one. With Lithium pros, when a battery went dead they kept telling me to try this and try that....anything to kick the can down the road and avoid me sending it back in. On an unrelated note....I may have some Lithium Pros to sell....

I like the fact that lithium pros have one battery for 36Volt. This does away with the two additional batteries you need for a trolling motor. But what I’m hearing is that these batteries are junk and they need to get their act together. Always hear about issues.

That is the reason i went with the 3 battery set up for the trolling motor, I dont know what your setup is like but here is my 202 with 4 batteries. I have since redone all the wiring with the cable adapters that drew sells. And poll covers. ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2020/01/full-4711-37464-202.jpg)

[Quality/reliability questions aside] Yes, you can get a single battery at 36V, but the total energy stored in that single battery isn't typically the same amount as what's stored in 3 12V litium batteries of similar size. I'm guessing that single battery (40Ah @ 36V) would provide a total 120Ah when viewed as 3 series 12V batteries. Three 100Ah 12V batteries on the other hand hold 300Ah of energy. Which do you think would run your 36V TM longer? ....see the trade-off?

I’ve been running one 36v Lithium for almost two years now. So far no issues. I have put it to work in the wind and have been totally impressed. Wouldn’t hesitate to do it again.

I run 4 relion RB100 HP lithiums. I've run these for about a year and a half. These are the cranking batteries which have the same specs as the trolling battery, with the exception the HP have 850 amp cranking amps and the RB100 have 200 cranking amps which is not enough to crank a big outboard. They are a little more expensive but I figure worth it in the long run. Not to mention I sell Relion and any and all Continental made batteries, Odyessey, Optima, Trojan, etc.

I am running 3 50ah relion for my tm, one 100ah for my start. I have a stealth charge on the run charger and it always charges my 36v AFTER my start battery is charged. I got the whole system from Josh Bussell on fb for 3600 total shipped, that included the stealth charge on run, lw stealth 110 charger, cables and a switch for jump start.
I have NEVER killed anything,.... I start the day at 42 plus volts and so far after 8-10 hours my tm side is still always above 39volts. I love it, I can use my tm on speed one all day and it works the same all day, when I had std batteries I started at 1.5-2 speed setting and 5-6 by the end of the day due to voltage drop.
I run 3 12 inch helix, 360 and live scope as well as live wells and a hydrowave all day with no issues... I usually fish smaller lakes so I am not using my charge on the run per say on the lake.
I turned off my charge on the run when I got to texas a month ago and it took 4 days for the tm side to get to 38.2 volts, that was 4 7-9 hour days.... I am supposed to charge at 37 volts...
The cold does make my start battery crank slowly but so far it has always started and I have fished in the snow 3 days in a row.

Guys talk about how long they last but personally don’t need them to last 48 hours straight. Bought 8 hours is all I need so guess I’ll keep what I got. Not to mention their easy to replace. J D
I got all day I’m retired
