Back in the "Good Old Days " lots of folks would fish Walnut Creek and Bowman Branch this time of year for Sandies and Crappie. Does anyone know if these areas are still accessible? And of course any reports on any action would also be greatly appreciated ðŸ˜

The city has built a concrete public walkway from Oliver nature park all the way to 360. That ought to give you access. There is private property all along the walkway, but the creekside is open. You can also access the trail from the soccer fields below Ridge Trace neighborhood. Jkb
Beware literally hundreds of copperheads displaced from that construction

On walnut creek. My Grandkids have caught sandies and crappie down there this week. They are novices but still had a blast.
