I have the Stohlquist Keeper. It's a little bulky but I like having pockets to store stuff. I also like that the back is full depth but thin so it doesn't interfere with the back of my seat. NRS seems to be the most popular. I couldn't find one that fit me so I went with the Keeper. I definitely recommend trying them on keeping in mind where your seat strikes your back.

You get out of it what you put into it!

I have been looking at the Kokatat Leviathon.

I tried it on at REI... it was a return from an online purchaser. It fit me like a glove, but I didn't like the color gray/blue. I will likely order one in orange or green.

I think I have the M-24... in yellow. M stands for manual... you have to pull the handle for it to inflate. The A models inflate automatically when you fall out of kayak. Academy usually carries them in several different colors. In the winter time I use a non inflating Kokatat pfd.

A good rule of angling philosophy is not to interfere with another fisherman's ways of being happy, unless you want to be hated.

I've got an OSO Bay Charter, was something like $90 at AKC. When adjusted right it doesn't interfere with the seat back on my Topwater PDL, and is pretty comfortable. More important, not gonna say how I know for sure, but I know for sure it works. wink
