I have an older boat and it has a Water/Gas separator that resembles an oil filter on a car. Do these have to be replaced or can you just take them off and dump them out ever so often?
My Yamaha 1990 150 Pro V just began to not idle without dying. I was thinking simple first, Water gas Separator, Fuel filter, fuel pumps. Any other thoughts would be appreciated.

Change it out as it traps water and trash.

Thank you, I'll change it. Good luck out there!
