I recently bought a 2007 Pathfinder 2200v and I want to get my electronics setup. I normally fish the bay for reds and trout. I also target white bass and catfish in the lakes. I would like to start fishing for crappie as well. I have a Lowrance hds 9 gen 2 touch from my old boat. I have the sonar transducer and the Lss2 transducer. I want to mount it in the console of the Pathfinder. I was thinking about adding a second unit for the bow. Should I get a gen 3 for the console and put the gen 2 on the bow? Should I link them or run them individually? Should I just run my gen 2 in the console and forget about the second unit? What would you do?
