I bought a dozen minnows Friday two of them have died already thought I was going to go fishing this weekend that didn't happen but I'm supposed to go to tawakoni Thursday my question is should I try to keep them alive that long or am I better off just freezing them before they die ?

I put them in water with aerator. It's only 10 minnows so I would not spend to much time trying to save them.

They should keep, but no telling how long they were at the bait stand...live minnows are usually better than dead for crappie...

This time of year they should keep. Put you a tree branch in a bucket with the aerator in it.

I made a deal with a marina once to stick their dead bait in the freezer for my catfish habit. I tried to pay them for the dead ones but they donated them to me. I caught lots of cats on the dead minnows . The marina is no longer in operation or I would mention their name. Was real nice that they provided the bait they could not sale to a retired and close to broke old dude.
