Lots of small bass are shallow, along with a few biggun's. Soft baits are catching fish. Hope y'all do good.

Never test the depth of the water with both feet.

I'll be taking my kids during spring break for a few days as well.... We've always done well fishing shallow flats and shorelines with wacky worms, sinco's and Texas rigged brush hogs.... The water is back up and there should be some freshly flooded button willows and brushy stuff to throw at...this is the only time of the year I Bass fish anyMore so we're looking forward to it... Good luck, let us know how you do.

The driving force and secret desire of every bass fisherman, is to one day be a crappie fisherman............Could it be that the good Lord just smilies and looks the other way when a fisherman tells a lie?

Fish are on beds, we just had 2 fun days of sight fishing. No big ones, best 5 each day were around 16-17 lbs but enough fish that both front and back of the boat had a bed to work at the same time. Shallow bite was not easy if you weren’t looking at em.

Be careful for floaters on the mainlake. I hit one just south of six mile in the boatlane.
