All kidding aside it was great spring day on the San Gabriel here in sunny central Texas. River was up a bit thanks to the rains midweek, thank the Lord they came. The bump in flow was just enough to get some more fish upstream and active. Took home a dozen sandies and one big black crappie at about 15 inches. Amazingly all males, including the crappie, again.
