So, do any of the MLF BPT pros go to the Classic Expo
as part of their sponsorship deals this week?

will ott defoe,last years champion hand the trophy to the new winner? Yes, he stated that in a press release a few months back. "I plan to be in Birmingham to hand off the trophy. When Jordan Lee handed it to me, he said two things -"this thing is heavy, and throw away your phone." It was indeed heavy, but I decided to hang onto my phone. I've met a lot of great people this year and had a lot of great conversations, both in-person and on that phone."

be interesting to know just how many of the 80 MLF fishermen will be there working for their sponsors....my guess would be about 20.....

Yes. seen more than half of them here including KVD, Evers, Hackney,Ike and Lee brothers. Ott is handing off tge trophy on Sunday.

Probably a stupid question but didn’t Carl Jocumson qualify for the classic with that win last year ? The "win and you're in" is for the Open Series but only if you fish all tournaments. The Elite series doesn't have that, only based off AOY standings Forgot to add it's an automatic berth if you win the Texas Fest event too, I believe
