the skeeter fxr are much less expensive than a glass vexus and there is obviously more retail sales demand.

It was not me Chance. It could have been the Falcon I had. I sold it to a buddy that was over there last weekend. I went to a Caymas this year.

You haven't seen many, because there isn't many out there. I doubt they make as many as Skeeter and Ranger per year, but also how many boats do you see that are older than 3 years old (or however old Vexus is). It's going to take a long time to catch up to market inventory levels as Skeeter and Ranger that have been making boats for 40+ years and likely 40% of them are still being used. All I’m sayin is that Vexus has been making their current lineup MUCH longer than the FXR has been out, and I have seen 20-1 FXRs over Vexus. For a reason too....Skeeter builds a good looking, capable boat. Vexus is just too “ricer” looking for a good ol boy to spend his money on one. Flop as it gets. Good point

I warned ya'll long ago that the name alone would kill a bunch of buyers. Same results if they had named them Corona.

I'm guessing its a very good boat, but that don't change its the fugliest bass boat out there. They do have somd pro guys in them now so theres that positive.

Same as caymas. Boatworld dropped Triton ranger to be a skeeter caymas dealer. They aren't going anywhere anytime soon White River Marine is a beating to deal with and have fun Triton and Ranger in the ground, customer service is terrible and treat the dealers like chit. I had just received my 2020 triton and had the offer to go to Caymas and glad I did. Cliff at TBW has sold several in just a few weeks and has more on order. Texas boat world dropped Triton and Ranger?!

Boatworld dropped Triton ranger to be a skeeter caymas dealer. You for sure on that?  Texas Boat World is no longer an Ranger or Triton dealer, no affiliation with WRM in any way as of last Thursday. First hand knowledge of what and why, no hearsay and he made it publicly known in his personal Facebook page. I saw that too on their Facebook page.

I doubt you could call them a bust....yet. But, when you come to market with a over hyped, unproven boat topping $80-100K, you better bring something that no one else has. I just don’t think Vexus brought much to the table that wasn’t already available in a time proven package. When it comes to dropping that much on a boat, I am not a pioneer. Also, for the guys saying it is an ugly boat, go back and look at a SK2000 Skeeter. Everyone misses the mark sometimes.
