I run a 24' boat?
I want livescope on the front so I can watch it while I am up front by myself or with customers.
I really would also like to have it on the console with an I Pad.

Is it real time? Fast? Slower?
Just want to know if anyone is using this setup?

Works like real time and can be controlled just like main unit.

I pad is very hard to see in the light of day on a boat. There is no lag time that I have seen when using my iPhone.

I sent an e-mail last night to you but I don't think it went out because service at PK was slow.

We do not service/repair the equipment. That will need to go to Navico for repair. I have not seen the email. I will be here happy to assist you with the Livescope package when you are ready.

Make sure you buy a gpsmap unit like the 1242 if you want to pair with I phone or I pad. I made a 2500 dollar mistake thinking all the new units would pair up.I bought the echomap ultra 126 and none of the echomap series will link up.I also have a 24ft boat and was wanting to do the same thing and record Livescope. Now if I want customers to view I will have to buy another echomap and mount in the back.After talking with garmin reps no one could give me a reason why the helm mode is not available on the echomap units. I think it is just another way to sell more units.

JSouthern is correct, if you want to what you’re asking, do not get the echomap as is not capable of sharing the panoptix screen is not shareable to a tablet or iPhone. If you have any question get my number from Tom.
